Introducing Pass the Mic Series
Introducing the new Event Umbrella Podcast series, Pass the Mic! A series dedicated to supporting the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and to provide underrepresented event professionals a place to showcase their voice.
The Pass the Mic series is meant to use The Event Umbrella Podcast platform for the purpose of opening up dialogue and to have important, but tough and engaging conversations.
For every 50 listeners, we will donate our proceeds from sponsorships and the podcast to the #BlackLivesMatter Movement and the NAACP. Please help spread the word and share these episodes to give our guests exposure, and help with monetary contributions to continue to raise awareness about these organizations that continue the fight against injustice.
The event industry is meant to bring people together, and what better way to do so than to work toward creating a more inclusive environment. The Pass the Mic podcast series will comprise of 4 episodes covering important topics such as Representation in Events, Inclusivity and Events, Leadership and Diversity, and Culturally Sensitive Events and additional resources on the blog show notes per episode.
